Delaware Water Gap and Bushkill Falls, PA - Page AAA

The day (July 7, 2010) began with a trolley ride through the Delaware Water Gap area
(Monroe County, PA) followed by lunch at the
Sycamore Grille and after lunch we headed
to
Bushkill Falls.  The Main Falls was nice but we did not spend enough time at Bushkill.
There are 4 trails which range from 15 minutes to 2 1/2 hours.  We took the yellow trail,
which takes approximately 45 minutes to go from beginning to end.  After spending an
hour at the falls, we visited
Country Kettle, which was not originally listed as part of the
tour.  Below are the photos taken during this one day tour with
L & M Tours.
Part of Main Street

At right is the Shawnee Presbyterian Church.  It was
noted that this church was part of the Underground
Railroad.  Many graves next to the church have
unmarked tomb stones and said to be of slaves.

Wild Life Exhibit.
Main Falls
The trails have color markers to guide you
through the various trails.  There are many steep,
narrow stairs and many bridges.
