| Mohonk Mountain House - 2nd Visit - August 28, 2009 - Page OO |
This visit was with my sister, Maria. A rainy day. As we approached the Mohonk Mountain House, the rain stopped and the sun shone for a short time. But as we walked to the Sky Top, it began to pour! Even with the rain, we enjoyed the walk to Sky Top, the gardens, the greenhouse, etc. We took the tour with L & M and there were about 20 passengers on the bus. Also see Page II. |

| Left - The Gatehouse. We had to stop here to wait for a car to lead us up the winding road. Right - Part of the dining room on the second floor. |
| The fireplace in the second floor dining room. A close up of the wreath over the fireplace. Mohonk is celebrating its 140th year anniversary! |

| The above photos and the ones below were taken as we walked to the Sky Top. |

| The photo at left and the one above were taken inside the Greenhouse. Behind the statue is a white bougainvillea. At right is a huge cactus. |
| As we were getting ready to leave, a fog engulfed the area. The fog looked as if it was gliding across the water of the lake! It was very spooky! |
Below are photos of the hibiscus on my terrace. |
