| Remember Caldor? It existed before Target and K-Mart. On Roosevelt Avenue close to Main Street. Further up, is a Macy's. On the corner of Main Street was once a Woolworth, now an Old Navy. Right - Busy Main Street. Update 2013 - Old Navy moved to new mall on College Point Blvd and Duane Reade moved in. |

Every time I wait for the #72 bus on Junction Blvd, close to Roosevelt Ave, I read this sign and wonder what kind of food is really served in this pizzeria. And why is that so? I have cut away the error and posted it below. Can someone please let me know if you have ever tried Hispaniss Food? (8/4/20 - The awning has been changed. The word "Hispaniss" no longer appears. |

The building that was once Caldor (see above) is now One World Mall. The signs on many of the businesses in Flushing will give you the impression you are in an Asian country, not the US. An example of this can be seen below. |
